In couple days I'll be going to Nepal with Piotr Hercog as his support and his photographer for Everest Marathon and 3 weeks of acclimatization. Keep the fingers crossed for Piotr and for me please. More details here.

Back home from a very successful expedition to Cueva Cheve in Mexico.
In March and April I spent 5 weeks in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico exploring the second deepest cave of the western hemisphere - Cheve (-1484 m). My photos are in the gallery 'Caves' and the folder 'Expeditions', check them out here.

The October issue of the National Speleological Society's newsletter is about PESH expedition 2016. On the cover: Derek Bristol sketching in Mexiguilla, a region in La Grieta cave, part of Sistema Huautla, that was discovered last year and pushed to its end in this year’s PESH expedition.
